October 2009 - Celebrate Massport's 50th Birthday

To celebrate Massport's 50th Birthday managing Logan Airport, we were honored to have the following speakers talk about the evolution of Logan International Airport and predictions for the future with aviation as well as maybe updates for Terminal C.
                                     
Ed Freni-Director of Aviation-Massport
Edward Freni is the aviation director of Massport. He is responsible for administering, coordinating and managing all airside and landside activities and operations of Massport's aviation facilities: Boston's Logan International Airport, Hanscom Field in Bedford and Worcester Regional Airport.
 
David Barger-Chief Executive Officer, President, and Director

David Barger is the Chief Executive Officer, President and a member of the board of directors. He joined our board in September 2001 and served as our President from August 1998-September 2007. Between 1998 and 2007, Mr. Barger also served as the company's Chief Operating Officer. From 1992 to 1998, Mr. Barger served in various management positions with Continental Airlines, including Vice President, Newark hub. He held various director level positions at Continental Airlines from 1988 to 1995. From 1982 to 1988, Mr. Barger served in various positions with New York Air, including Director of Stations. Mr. Barger attended the University of Michigan.
